Cosmic Accelerators: Understanding Nature's High-energy Particles and Radiation

The workshop will be held at the Loews Annapolis Hotel, located less than half a mile from the Maryland State House in the historic capital city of Maryland, and within easy walking distance of the waterfront and restaurant district.  Early-November is generally a pleasant time of year in Maryland, with an average daily high and low temperatures of 57 F/48 F.

Annapolis is a 30-35 minute drive from Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), 45-60 minutes from Reagan National Airport (DCA), and more than an hour from Dulles International Airport (IAD). BWI is also a stop for most Amtrak trains from Philadelphia, New York and Boston.

Parking

Annapolis

Parking is available on-site.  Guests staying at the Loews Annapolis Hotel with a car have the option to Self park or Valet park. Self parking is available for $12 per night and Valet parking is available for $15 per night. These charges will be billed to your sleeping room. For workshop participants not staying at the hotel, daytime valet parking is $11 per day; self parking is $8 per day.  Mention to the parking attendant that you are there for the JSI Workshop.
